Another Day…More Masks
Hi All. Checking-in and hope this finds all of you well. I’m still staying home and mostly working on masks. To all the essential workers out there…THANK YOU!!!
Mask Progress
I’ve come up with two methods for making the masks. I think both are good. The one method seems to be better if you have elastic and doesn’t work quite as well with ties. The other seems to be good for either. The methods are a bit of a hybrid of the Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin patterns. NOTE: To find the Children’s Hospital pattern, scroll about half-way down to the Home mask instructions link.
Ready for Art
Yesterday, I spent some time going though all my watercolors. I’m sad that so many are dried up. I’ll still be able to use the paint since adding water re-animates the paint. It just isn’t the same feel as working with tube paint. But it’ll work. Paint is expensive so I’ll just replace as I go along.
I plan on creating a variety of patterns and a fair number of florals. My garden hasn’t bloomed yet; the weather is still too cool. There are a few buds appearing so it’s promising. I’m also wondering about making a trip to a garden center. I hope to find someone local and not too busy. In the meantime, I’m looking forward to what will bloom in the next few weeks. I need color!!
Do you have a garden? What do you plant?
Until next time,
