Back to Quilting

We had several storms roll through late yesterday. Kona does not like the thunder. She wanted to cuddle on the couch to feel safe. Yesterday, I spent the day reorganizing my office. I got all those cords corralled and things are looking good in the office.

Red and Butter

I'll finish the assembly of "Red and Butter" today. I just need to join the blocks for each row. Then I’ll join the rows. This one came together fast. I'm accumulating a stack of tops to get quilted. Most are Skill Builder projects. Once I finish the Moda U quilt, I'll go back to working on the Skill Builder Projects in between working on Christmas projects.

Moda U

Next, I'll continue the SID work on Moda U. Maybe while I'm working on it, I'll think of a new name. This one needs a new name. The colors are somewhat autumnal. The sampler blocks are framed with something like a carpenter wheel block. I'm just not sure. I'll ponder a few ideas as I work and see if something strikes me.

Black Cherries & Bindings

While working on Red and Butter, I'll also complete another piece of the Black Cherries wall hanging. I need to keep that one moving forward. And, I have accumulated more quilts to bind. The table runner and placemats I completed a few weeks ago need binding. My plan is to bind those by machine.

What projects are you planning?

Until next time,
