Better Days Ahead

Love these yellow roses. They opened up so beautifully! There was no post yesterday. As I was getting ready for bed last night I realized I never wrote my blog post. Oh well, I had a great day.

I met my cousin at my LQS (Local Quilt Shop) and got to spend time with Brennan. I just love that little guy. It's been so long since we saw each other he said, "Mary, at first I almost didn't recognize you." His mom said, "Not even in her Packer mask?" and he said, "No, I really didn't at first." <Sigh> Then he asked all about Kona. I think he misses her, too. We had fun looking at all the fabrics and quilts. It was interesting to see which ones Brennan noticed and liked.

Today's Plan

I continue to work on 100 day blocks. I'm also starting on the finishing options. There are several layout options but I will only make one final quilt.

Day 84

Since I didn’t post yesterday, here is the information on day 84. The block is Ribbon Star. It is a 6" block.

This star block appears to have two stars layered on top of each other. It almost seems to spin.

#The100DayProjectMysteryQuilt

It's day 85 of The 100 Day Project Mystery Quilt - Block 85 is Hovering Hawks. This is a 3" block.

The half-square triangles in this block are arranged to create a diagonal design.
