Crazy Times
We are living in crazy times. None of us are alone. I too got sucked into the Matrix. I don't know what else to call it. It certainly isn't normal, and I pray it's not a "new" normal. When we come out the other side, and we will, things will be a bit different. However, I'm confident in our resilience as human beings and a society to be better as a result.
I see stories of it already. Young people running errands for older neighbors and those most vulnerable to the virus. Individuals and companies delivering PPE's (personal protection equipment) to hospitals and emergency personnel. The sewing community creating masks* for nursing homes and emergency use. People, like me and Kona, following the "shelter-in-place" guidelines to reduce the spread and "flatten the curve." The good is happening all around us.
Since I'm here at home, I must admit, I have no good excuse for not keeping up with my blog. I'm writing today because one of my dearest quilting buddies casually mentioned, "I miss your blog." I thought, maybe others do too.
So, I'm back to quilting and writing about quilting and art. Sharing my thoughts on goal setting and time management (my nerdy passion). And, maybe even a sprinkle or two about Genealogy (my other nerdy passion).
