Happy National Ice Cream Day!

Whew! We are getting a hot one here today. Patty and I ran 5 miles early this morning before it started getting ridiculously hot. I brought my hanging plants into my house, so they don't get scorched and moved the entry potted plants into the shade.

It's so fitting that today is National Ice Cream Day! A great way to cool off. I picked up some ice cream for Kona, too. We plan to relax and cool off after our walk.

Plans Today

Now that I've worked ahead, I only have two more blocks to make for a total of 112 blocks. Next, I'll be working on the instructions for the finishing block and the overall quilt. Options include a wall hanging, twin quilt and queen sized quilt.

It's day 90 of The 100 Day Project Mystery Quilt - Block 90 is Flying Star. This is a 6" block. This pinwheel star combines two quilter favorites, the star and the pinwheel.
