What I Listen to or Watch While Quilting

What I listen to or watch while quilting depends a bit on the time of day. Or even the day of the week.

Football

I learned to love football from my dad and my brother. If it's football season, I'm catching up with the latest news on the NFL Network's Good Morning Football. It's a daily ritual. So much so, my dog Kona, has taken to giving me strange looks when another station appears in the morning. She knows me so well.

If it's game day, I try to catch my beloved Green Bay Packers. Since I no longer live in the Packer viewing area, getting the game is not always possible. In that case, I watch the Red Zone. Football games are among my favorites because I can count on at least three hours of binding time. I get a lot of bindings completed during football season.

Audiobooks and CDs

After football, I usually switch to listening to CDs or anaudiobook. Right now, it's the holiday season so I pulled out all my favorite holidayCDs.

My other option is an Audiobook. It seems I have acquired several audiobooks and that is always a great option. Right now, I'm listening to Every Thing is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo. My local library also carries a large selection of audiobooks and they acquire more every day. It's so easy to borrow audiobooks with the new Libby app. Check it out at your local library.

Evenings

Anything goes in the evening. Sometimes it's a movie or TV special. Other times I watch PBS, HGTV, Smithsonian, History Channel or, I'll admit it, The Weather Channel. I'm a weather geek. If I don't find something to watch, I'll check out On Demand and catch up on shows I've missed.
