Task Day

There are a lot of small tasks I've been passing on lately. I'd always rather be quilting. Still, a dentist appointment and laundry need to get done. Not sure I'll have time to quilt today other than maybe some time for a couple 100 day blocks.

#The100DayProjectMysteryQuilt

It's day 77 of The 100 Day Project Mystery Quilt - Block 77 is Joining Star. This is a 6" block.

I do love my star blocks. ? The Joining Star is another favorite of mine.

"The 'Joining Star' is part of the Nancy Page Quilt Series, 'Quilt of Many Stars'. It is used as the 'corner stones' of the sashing pieces: "When the Nancy Page quilt club members saw the tiny blocks which were used in the joining star they did not wonder that Nancy gave them this pattern at this time. Instead of waiting until all the body stars were made, the member could make one of these joining stars whenever she had leisure or was waiting for the men folks to come for dinner."
