Check-in, More Masks and UFOs
Checking in. Hope all is well with everyone and you are getting time with your families. Please stay healthy and remember to thank all of those out there working at essential jobs and especially those working in healthcare. Remember, STAY HOME, so they can do their jobs!
Masks
Today, I'm making more masks. I washed and ironed fabric yesterday. Then, started sewing a few on my long arm machine. The pattern I figured out allows me to do the first part on the long arm. After that it will be at my domestic machine, Stella. Stella is itching to get back to work. My attention is on other things right now; I think she thinks I'm ignoring her.
UFOs
I usually devote Fridays to my UFO projects (Unfinished Objects). The Making Masks project is taking over my time right now. I'm good with that and glad I can help others at this time. Now that my system for making masks is down, I can finish what I have. Then, I can send them where they are needed. My plan after that is to get back to the pictured project at the top of this post, called Sew Many Ways. It's one that ended up being a UFO because I didn't have enough of the sashing fabric. I found more online and though it arrived a few weeks ago…well, you know what happened.
Coming Soon
Another soon to start project is #The100DayProject. I'll be clearing the decks, ok, my art table, and getting ready for the start on April 7th. It will get here fast so I have to get back to making masks.
Until Next Time…Stay Safe, Stay Home!
