Friday – UFO Day

It's hot and humid today. I did walk 4 miles with Patty today. But I could have done without the humidity. It wiped me out and I'm just getting around to writing this post at 2 pm.

I'm finishing up the second Heartland Express quilt today. Just need to assemble the rows and add the borders. And, prepare the backing. The next UFO I plan to tackle is a wall hanging called Black Cherries. This is a project I cut all the pieces for and then never started sewing it together.

It's day 74 of The 100 Day Project Mystery Quilt - Block 74 is Pinwheel. This is a 3" block.

Pinwheel – This pinwheel uses the same size triangles for the blades. Bars of the background fill the space of what is usually a larger triangle blade.
