It's the Weekend

It's quite nice here today. I hear we are in for a heat wave in the coming week. Kona and I stay cool inside but that crazy dog does like her outside time, even in the heat.

They had yellow roses on sale at the grocery store so I picked up a bouquet. Yellow roses always remind me of my Grandma Hutchinson. They were her favorite. The bouquet also has a few daisies and a purple flower that I'm not sure the of the name. I like having cut flowers in the house. They brighten the room.

Today's Plan

I plan to get at least two more 100 day blocks done and finalize the last seven blocks of the 112 total. Things are getting near the end on this project and I'm starting to think about what I'll do next. Maybe a Quilt-A-Long or, well, 'm not sure yet.

#The100DayProjectMysteryQuilt

It's day 82 of The 100 Day Project Mystery Quilt - Block 82 is Twirling Star. This is a 6" block.

This star combines the Sawtooth star with half-square and square blocks in the corners. It does make this star appear to twinkle!
