Yeah! It's Friday
Well, it doesn't really matter since everyday is Friday or Saturday or, whatever. The only thing that makes me figure out what day it is everyday is posting here. Believe it or not, posting starts my day with a little structure in these times.
UFOs
Friday means it is UFO Friday, so I'll be spending at least two hours working on my next UFO. It's a wall hanging called "Black Cherries. I know I stopped working on this one because I wasn't sure I was going to make the appliqued borders. I'm still undecided about the borders but I'll work on getting the center of the quilt pieced.
I also plan to complete a couple more 100 day blocks. Right now, Kona is signaling me for a walk.
#The100DayProjectMysteryQuilt
It's day 81 of The 100 Day Project Mystery Quilt - Block 81 is Sawtooth. This is a 3" block.
This basic star surrounds a square with flying geese units. Simple and elegant. It is the first star block I made when I was learning to quilt. The one I made back then was 12" and in a sampler quilt of various blocks I was learning to make. That quilt is my oldest UFO.
