Getting Hotter

Looks like another hot day today. My garden is doing well but keeping everything watered in Missouri is a bit of a challenge. I figured out a solution for that one section that wasn't getting water and I didn't have to buy anything new. Yeah! I'm testing it now.

Quilt Plans Today

Today I plan to focus on blocks for the 100 day mystery quilt project. Last Sunday, I made all the blocks for the week. Then my main computer charger died. The design software I use for creating the foundation patterns and block images can only run on that main computer. BUT because I had all the blocks completed and the patterns worked out, everything was ready for posting. That planning saved me and kept me on track.

I have a couple blocks and patterns ready, so today's plan is to get the rest of the coming week completed. Then I'll be free to work on other projects.

Long Arm Progress

Yesterday I completed the second row plus the third row of the Irish Chain. Not sure I'll have time to work on it today. We'll see how the day goes.

#The100DayProjectMysteryQuilt

It's day 55 of The 100 Day Project Mystery Quilt - Block 55 is Cross and Crown. This is a 6" block.

Cross and Crown – This block is similar to Turkey tracks. The rectangles are narrow in this block to create the cross.
