It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like…
Another gorgeous day today. Patty and I walked four miles at Creve Coeur Park this morning. I like the mornings because it is less crowded. It seems Wednesday is bike day, but we walk.
Kona also got to walk today, and she has settled down for a while. Good news for me since that means I'll be able to get some work done.
Looking Like Halloween
It's beginning to look a lot like Halloween here. I pulled the Autumnal and Halloween projects from my UFO pile as well as new projects I want to work on in the coming days. I started working on the quilt-as-you-go placemats yesterday.
Along with the placemats, I'll be working on the binding for Halloween HST during this week's football games. I did the quilting back in May, but it feels like I finished the quilting about two weeks ago. Time certainly has warped strangely this year.
UFO – Black Cherries
I'm plowing forward with Black Cherries. Still working on the black and yellow half-square triangles. Once those are done the remainder is putting it together. Looks like this one is getting done faster than I thought it would get done. YEAH!!
Next is the Black Cat wall hanging. I figure I still have a couple more weeks to get ready for Halloween. I need to come up with a door decoration, too. Time to get creative.
Home Coming Sampler
Major progress was made on Home Coming Sampler yesterday. I only have the last row of blocks to complete plus the last to rows of triangles. This one is so pretty and I'm loving the quilting on it. Once the binding is attached, I'll work on this one during the games.
Next up on the long arm is the Home Town Heroes Quilt. It is one of the Skill Builder quilts I need to complete. I decided on this one next since I have an idea for it. After that, I'll squeeze in those two Halloween pillows. They'll be a quick project.
What are your Halloween plans?
Until till next time,
