My Next Project(s)

It started gray this morning and then the sun came out though it is cooler and a bit windy. I have noticed the days are getting shorter. The sun used to wake me up but now I’m waking up before the sun. Kona is getting up before the sun, too. She was all cuddles this morning. I love it when she gets like that.

Home Town Heroes

The next quilt on the long arm is Home Town Heroes. This quilt is the May 2020 Skill Builder project. The lesson covers how to work with a Single Pattern Fill background, Nested Patterns, Echo – inside and outside, and more. I enjoy the Skill Builder lessons and discovering new tricks and designs for my long arm.

The Skill Builder lessons are for Gammill/Statler long arm owners. If you have a Gammill/Statler long arm, you can check out Skill Builders Here. Joyce and Joan are not just wonderful instructors, they are funny and entertaining, too.

UFO – Black Cherries

No work on Black Cherries yesterday. I concentrated on Home Coming Sampler. Today I’ll spend time working on the Halloween placemats and Black Cherries. I have some make-up work to do. The placemats are a quick project, but even quick projects need time and attention if they are going to get done.

Home Coming Sampler

Speaking of done, I completed the last row of blocks and triangles for Home Coming Sampler. Now, I’ll add the binding. Since tonight is football night, I’ll be attaching bindings on several projects. The hand stitched bindings take the longest.

What are you working on this week?

Until till next time,
