Sunday, Fun Day

Sundays are no pressure days for me. It's a good day to read, drink coffee, and take some time to just think. There may be some quilting later. Possibly some watercolor painting. For sure take a walk with Kona. She always likes that.

It's day 20 and the block is Westland. I'm incredibly happy with how this block turned out. I had a vision for it to be greener, but the purples in my stash blended so well and achieved the look I wanted. The block itself is a pinwheel and star combination. By overlaying the pinwheel, it causes the star to appear to spin. I can see an entire quilt with this block. Maybe…
