Taking it Easy
Today, I will be taking it easy. I have a long overdue dental appointment. It was delayed due to COVID-19. I'm in need of root canal and today's the day. The nurse gave me a complete run through on the process for my appointment and was very reassuring. Surprisingly, I'm not worried about it at all.
Plans Today
Besides the dental appointment, I'll be relaxing today. I do plan to get Halloween HST mounted on the long arm. I'll also continue working on #The100DayProjectMysteryQuilt blocks and patterns. After that, I'll likely do some reading and maybe a little drawing.
#The100DayProjectMysteryQuilt
It's 17 day and the block is Sawtooth Patchwork. This block is constructed with four diamond-in-a-square units, four half-square triangles, and a square. There are several variations of this block. Some have a single block in the center, like mine. Others have a fifth diamond-in-a square in the center, though I've also seen that version called Five Diamonds. Changing the color placement also changes the look of the Sawtooth Patchwork block.
This block is from Ladies Art Company, 1897*
