The Week Ahead
Well, scrap yesterday. Ugh. Aside from my morning run and a call from my much loved godmother, (yes, she is still living and always an inspiration to me) there wasn't much good news. It started raining, my beloved Packers lost, and I ended up taking a bath and going to bed with a good book.
Adobe MAX
I'll have limited time for quilting this week. I'm planning on attending Adobe MAX on Tuesday-Thursday this week. Adobe MAX is a free virtual conference for creatives. It includes classes on the big three, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign plus their other product offerings. AND the classes are free. I've been wanting to get more acquainted with InDesign and see this as a perfect opportunity.
The classes are being taught by many of Adobe's leading experts. Classes range from beginner to expert. This conference normally costs $1500 to attend. Adobe is making it free this year. It is part of their response to COVID and supporting the artist community. There is still time to register if you are interested.
Long Arm, Quilting, and Bindings
I'm continuing to work on Winter Star. I'll be starting the background fill later today. Not sure if I'll have time to start the center star. I'm liking the design I planned and can't wait to see it stitch out.
There are still pillows to finish as well. The Christmas ones are all pinned and ready to sew. Then I'll do the Halloween pillows. Last is the lavender pillow. My sewing room is soft lavender and I'll use the pillow there. Just hope Kona doesn't decide to claim it because I like this one.
Oh, and bindings. Always bindings.
What does your week look like?
Until till next time,
